I doubt it did a very good job. I do an excellent job watering plants. I bet the watering system only got the top layer wet! Ha! I know with most of those plants...and especially for the morning time drink...you've got to soak the roots.
It reminded me of the time I lived with Mom in Murfreesboro. I hated mowing. I'm not afraid of hard work. It was mainly because of the injustice of it. Jill and I were supposed to jointly mow. Jill, John, Mom and I, if I was lucky. But it got to where it was just me and that yard is exhausting to do alone. The front was the worst, with that long ditch that bordered our corner lot.
Mom mowed it on a day that I was supposed to. I came out and she'd already finished, sitting on her beautiful white porch swing, sipping some tea. I was impressed and excited that I didn't have to do it and I remember the look she gave me. It's the look the watering system gave me this morning. Then she handed me her cup and asked me to get her more sweet tea.
Bee tee double-you, if you have a problem with shelter animals being sold for research, you can sign this petition done up by the American Humane Society. I also signed one to make Canada stop killing seals and another that thanked Michelle Obama for planting the first garden in 60 years at the White House. Hopefully karma will work its way back to me.

Kate, your writing is so original and so GOOD. I just can't wait - from one posting to the next - to see what your mind comes up with.
Give some serious thought to beginning your book now, Kate. You've got the time. Lord knows you've got the talent. Get on with it already!
