A Better View.
Why do they have to eat the underside of a leaf? This maple sprout is growing out of a crevice of a mimosa tree in our front yard.
I read a very interesting story today about a man and his father, the anger in his blood, and how it affected his life. (Just Like You by Greg Hlavaty in the publication, Barrelhouse Seven) I could understand a lot of it, not because of my own angst but from the emotionally strained stories of others close to me. One line echoed in my mind:
"When disappointment enters the blood, it becomes venom that must be exorcised or it will eat the host from within."
